Hello Everyone!

This blog is intended as a way to talk about snowboarding, skateboarding, the local scene in AK, my ocassionally unstable mental state (haha), and anything else worth talking about in the world of riding boards. There maybe misspellings, cursing, self serving rants, a lack of structure, and whining. I’ll try to keep that stuff to a minimum but consider yourself warned.

I’ve snowboarded and skated for about 24 years. I’ve lived the life of a pro snowboarder as well as a dishwasher. I’ve won the x-games and I’ve been on a reality tv show. I’ve driven the Alcan 12 times solo. I’m the single parent to a beautiful english bulldog. I’m a college student. I’ve written for snowboarder magazine and I’ve had 3 “accidents” while snowboarding. I’ve had a lot of highs and lows in life and this blog will be the place to share some of those.

I imagine there will be times when i get all emo and other times when I seem like a real jerk. I just hope it can be an outlet for the joy and pain that being a snowboarder and skateboarder can bring. So lets get it started.
